Obituary
We are all saddened to announce the passing of Jean Killeen of St. Albert, Alberta at age 89 on October 21st 2023.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Gerry; her daughter Catherine (Eric); her grandchildren, Elliott (Wendy), Andrew (Claire), Hannah, Danielle (PH); and her first great grandchild, Bennett; as well as her sister Margaret (Eugene); and her many nieces and nephews.
Jean was born in 1934 and trained and then served for several years as a registered nurse in both Calgary and Edmonton. Her loves were her family, her music, and the Edmonton Oilers. She also loved a good joke and conversations with family and friends were typically seasoned with dry wit and a hearty laugh.
Cremation has taken place, and a committal service will be held on November 25th at 11:00 am in Holy Cross Mausoleum, 14611 Mark Messier Trail, Edmonton, AB.
