On May 18, 2024, Lena Kuzz of Edmonton, Alberta passed away at the age of 96.
Lena was born on November 1, 1927 in Beauvallon, Alberta. She was the third child of John and Annie Danyluk.
Lena was predeceased by her parents, John and Annie Danyluk, her husband Nick Kuzz, sisters Mary and Rose, and brothers Bill, Mike, and Walter.
She is survived by her son Virgil (Helen), daughter Delia (Don), 3 grandsons, David, Donovan, and Daniel, sister-in-law Loretta, brother-in-law Peter, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Lena and Nick enjoyed traveling with their truck and camper, and later with their 5th wheel trailer, taking trips to Banff, the Okanagan, Yellowknife, Fort St John, and Watrous Sask.
They also did a bus tour to Florida.
Lena enjoyed her garden, and also enjoyed baking and canning. She was an excellent cook, and no one ever left a meal hungry.
