Gordon William Snow, beloved partner, son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend passed from this life unexpectedly at his home in Fort McMurray on February 19th, 2024, at the age of 42 years.
He is survived by his loving partner Allison Neary, parents Donald and Nancy Snow, brother Adam Snow (Emi), sister Andrea Faragalli (Fabio), nieces, Neve, Aurora, and Fiona, his father and mother-in-law Gordon and Moire Neary, his brother-in-law Mark Neary, and his many Uncles, Aunts, cousins, and friends. Predeceased by his grandparents Henry and Isla Kay, and Clarence and Maisy Snow, his Uncles Ronnie and Rick Kay, Uncle James Wilson, Aunt Margret Kay, and Cousin Jason Snow.
Many of his friends from Mount Pearl are also feeling his loss, and all those who gathered at 8 Browne.
In his youth Gordon absolutely shone as he gave solo and ensemble performances with the Mount Pearl Show Choir and tore up the field playing Rugby. Throughout his life he was an avid snowboarder, mountain biker, Lego builder, Star Wars enthusiast and lover of fantasy books. He had a bright smile and an enthusiasm that lit up a room. Though he could be the life of the party, his favorite moments were spent with Allison doing the quiet activities they enjoyed together. He could always be found outside with their dog Baxter or on a hill, in all seasons, pulling off daring stunts. He loved being with his family, especially his three nieces whom he adored and who adored him in return. Gordon enjoyed his work at Shaw’s Enterprises where his coworkers were like family to him.
Gordon’s cremation will take place at Park Place Funeral Home in Sherwood Park, AB. The family has decided to have a celebration of life, announced at a later date, during the summer months in Newfoundland.
