Dorcy was a father of 4 children – Michelle (Ross), Trevor (Teresa), Alphonse & Dorcy Jr. (both deceased)
Dorcy was a Grandfather of 4 Children – Justin, Julien, Donovan & Teanna
Dorcy was Great Grandfather of 4 Children – Mikaila (Step), Joshua, Brelynd & Kane and his 5th on the
way Kai-Donovan
In 1970 Dorcy & Marilyn founded “Dorcy’s Piano Moving”
Dorcy loved the “Piano” moving business, he relished in the challenges it would bring from removing
floors, staircases to using cranes to get the job done. No challenge has he ever walked away from for this
his name will carry on forever in the moving industry as “ The King of the Keys”
His hard work and dedication over the years he was blessed to meet, Liberace, Wayne Gretzky, Mark
Messier, Jari Kurri, Bobby Curtola, Danny Hooper and many more, also providing services for the Country
Music Awards
Dorcy retired to their cabin at the lake, where he enjoyed fishing, hunting, feeding the birds, tinkering &
building stuff in his sandbox (garage) and making his famous pancakes for his kids and grandkids.
His pancakes will be greatly missed.
He enjoyed re-shaping the earth and other things (lol) with his “Bobcat”
Dorcy “loved” to play bingo, many Trips to Las Vegas, DQ Mushroom burgers & strawberry milkshakes,
Also loved all you can eat taco Tuesdays at Taco Bell or at home, He thoroughly loved sharing his
knowledge & childhood memories with everyone.
Dorcy was known to many that would refer to him as “MacIver” he could fix and build anything!
He was even great at sewing, Teresa had a live-in seamstress giving Dad all her bras that needed repairs,
not to mention he always had the devious grin when he got to handle a bra!
Over the years Dorcy has experienced many Health issues, Even getting kicked in the face by a horse,
Poor circulation of his legs but Dorcy always came out on top as he was as tough as they come, In his last
days with us he experienced no pain, No swelling and an amazing appetite and left us with that huge
smile before he decided to walk with Mom (Marilyn) once again
