Mr. Paul Denis Roy passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Monday, November 18,
2024 at the age of 79 years. He was born on December 20, 1944, in St. Boniface, Manitoba, to Joseph
Napolean and Eileen Roy. Paul’s sense of humor and kind nature will be deeply missed by all who knew
him. He found great joy in nature, especially through camping and fishing, activities that brought him
peace and relaxation. Paul will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife of forty-eight years, Brenda;
his son, Trevor and his daughter-in-law, Cherise; and his granddaughters, Isabelle, Katelyn, and Sophia
Roy. He is also survived by his daughter, Colleen and his son-in-law, Ken Levenec, along with their
children, Devon (Kylee), Meagan, Breanne, and his cherished great grandson, Pierce. Paul will also be
sadly missed by his brothers, David (Anne), Phillip (Wendy) and Dennis (Karen), and his niece, Courtney
Damberger. Paul was predeceased by his parents, and his brother, John. The family extends their heartfelt
thanks to the Nurses on Unit 31, as well as to Dr. Mah, Dr. Reikie, Dr. Head, and Dr. Mehta for their care
and compassion. A Celebration of Paul’s Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No. 35,
2810 Bremner Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. Condolences,
