Mrs. Olga Meadows (nee Szwec) passed away at home, on Friday, June 7, 2024 at the age of 73 years. Olga was born on June 25, 1950 in England and moved to Canada with her parents at a very young age. They settled in Edmonton, Alberta where Olga was raised with her two younger siblings, Oscar and Rose. After meeting, and falling for Allan Meadows, they were married on September 11, 1971, and began their life together. Over the years, they moved around raising their two children and eventually settled in Drayton Valley. Olga enjoyed reading, camping, and fishing, but most of all, loved her three grandchildren, Lexxannah, Cole and Sable and spent as much time as she could with them. Olga will be lovingly remembered by her children, Al Meadows of Lethbridge and Tamara Janzen of Red Deer; her three grandchildren, Lexxannah Meadows, Sable Meadows, and Cole Janzen; her brother, Oscar Szwec of Edson, Alberta and her sister, Rose Szwec of Peoria, Alberta, as well as other family members and dear friends. Olga was predeceased by her husband, Allan Meadows.
