Mr. Joseph ‘Gerard’ Sherry of Red Deer, Alberta passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre, Red Deer, Alberta on Friday, December 15, 2023 at the age of 61 years. Gerard loved curling, golf, camping and was always ready to lend a hand when asked. Gerard will be lovingly remembered by his wife of thirty-two years, Stacey Joanne (nee Rosenthal) Sherry; his siblings, June Cormier, Margaret (Mark) Bowness, George (April) Sherry, Tom (Nancy) Sherry, Rita (Joe) Clow, Mike (Suzy Brownlee) Sherry, Paul (Darlene) Sherry as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and extended family members. Gerard was predeceased by his parents, Brendan and Vera (nee Sherry) Sherry, his sisters, Marilyn Sherry, Carol MacCormack, Cheryl Newcombe, Angela Lockerby and his brothers-in-law, Fred Cormier, Bruce MacCormack, Jackie Newcombe, his mother-in-law, Helen Murkin, and his fur baby, Zeus. A Celebration of Gerard’s Life will be held when family and friends can gather together to share a lasting memory of Gerard.
