Mr. Bruce Donald Cruickshank passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at the age of 56 years. Bruce was born on April 2, 1967 at Red Deer, Alberta, to Donald and Myrna Cruickshank. Bruce grew up farming with his father and his happiest moments were working side by side with him. He loved being a farmer, a good neighbor and friend, and was always willing to help anyone at any time. Bruce will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by his siblings, Karen (Dennis), Sharlene (John), Ryan and Jacky (Dave); his nieces and nephews, Mitchell, Joshua, Keana, Jordan, Wyatt, Jessica, David, Christopher, Kurtis, Tysen, and Melissa; as well as numerous family members and dear friends, especially in the farming community. Bruce was predeceased by his parents, Donald and Myrna Cruickshank. Bruce’s family would like to say a special “Thank You” to the Staff at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre ICU for the care given, and to David Cruickshank and John Hamill for their support during this difficult time. At Bruce’s request, no Service will be held. If desired, Memorial Donations in Bruce’s honor may be made directly to a charity of the Donor’s choice.
