Joseph John Klein was born on March 29, 1931, to parents Mike and Mary Klein.
He married Rita Hollman on April 4, 1956. They would move to the farm south of Provost, build their house and raise four children, Irvin, Kathy, Karen and Fred.
Joe passed away on December 6, 2023, at the Provost Health Centre – Long Term Care at the age of 92 years.
He will be forever loved and missed by his children, Irvin (Sheila) Klein, Kathy Klein, Karen (Bart) Swanson and Fred (Deb) Klein; grandchildren, Jody (Emma), Brent (Katie), Travis, Chris (Crystal), Billy – Joe, Justin, Evan (Ramie), Shauné (Sandra), Miranda (Wes), Brittney (Jen), Bradley (Katrina) and Andrew (Alana); great grandchildren, Alex, Katie, Watson, Raya, Sparrow, Chase, Levi, Samantha, Spencer, Theo, Brynn, Oliver, Alice, Elizabeth, Avery and one on the way.
Joe will be dearly missed by his many relatives and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at 1:30 p.m. at the St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Provost, Alberta with Father Christopher Selvaraj Rayappan officiating. Interment to follow at the Provost Cemetery.
