Peter’s Obituary
Peter Russell Hawryliuk was born on April 16, 1943, and passed away peacefully on September 27, 2024, in the house that he built, with his beloved wife Lindsay by his side, at the age of 81 years.
Peter was a lifelong resident of Rocky Lane, Alberta. He was the second born to Andrew and Mary Hawryliuk. He spent his entire life living and working on the farm.
Peter was predeceased by his brother Eugene, his parents Andrew and Mary Hawryliuk, parents-in-law Betty and Len Amadore, and brother-in-law Mike Chapman.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Lindsay, daughter Kendra (Rick Sobierajski), son Colin (Lisa), his brother Wilbert (Lynda), his sister Helen.
His beloved Grandchildren Adam, Sadie, Mackayla, Kyle, Corey, and his nephews Robbie (Denise), Ryan (Sophie), Micheal, brother-in-law Bryan (Bev) as well as many numerous cousins, and friends. Peter will be greatly missed by everyone that knew and loved him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on October 04, 2024, at Our Lady of Good Counsel Roman Catholic Church in High Level, Alberta at 1:00 p.m.
Interment to immediately follow at the Rocky Lane Cemetery, Rocky Lane, Alberta.
Following the service, friends are invited to join the family for a time of fellowship at the Rocky Lane Agricultural Society Hall.
If you so desire, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, in lieu of flowers.
