Charles’ Obituary
It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of Charles (Charlie) Vautour, who passed away peacefully on August 28 2024 in Canyon Creek, Alberta surrounded by his family at the age of 65.
Charlie was born and raised in Campbellton, NB before moving to Canyon Creek, Alberta, where he spent the second half of his life raising his family and pursuing a career as a Heavy Equipment Operator. Anyone that knew Charlie knows of his strong work ethic and determination, and whether he was fishing, tending to his garden or simply spending the day with his family; he was a man that truly lived his life in accordance with his internal truth and values. From making new friends or bringing a smile to someone’s face, Charlie always had a quick wit about him coupled with a unique sense of humor. Of all his accomplishments, his biggest one was undoubtedly the family he built with his loving wife, Carol.
Charlie is predeceased by his father Charles Vautour and his mother Kathleen Vautour. He is survived by his wife Carol, daughter Crystal (Brian) Macinnis and sons Christopher (Amanda) Gray, Trevor (Ciera) Gray, Chad Gray Vautour (Trinity), his grandchildren Taliah, Asher, Brynnly, Bree and Cash and his siblings Paul (Veronica), Margaret (Jim), Ida, Charlene (Wayne), Bernadette (Jack), Susan (Fred) and Kevin (Sherri).
