Branden’s Obituary
Branden Lee Soroka, long time resident of Manning passed away on September 3, 2024 in Peace River Alberta at the age of 30. Branden was born in Peace River, July 1, 1994. He was raised in Manning and recently moved to Grande Prairie. Branden attended school at Rosary School and Paul Rowe High School in Manning. After graduation he attended NAIT and completed the Forestry Technician Program he then furthered his education to a Registered Professional Forest Technician.
Branden had a passion for life, and lived his life to the fullest. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing and traveling and was willing to participate in any adventure. Especially if it included snowmobiling, jet boating or really anything with horsepower. In 2023 he entered the aviation space to follow one of his many dreams. His greatest love was for his wife, son and family but most of all showing Nayte and Danielle the many joys of the world. His most cherished times were spent with his friends and family.
Branden was very young but had many accomplishments, some of which included owning and operating Forteck Forestry, and Gemini Heli. He was an active member in many organizations, with his greatest merit to the Alberta Forestry Resilience Council and a member of the Association of Alberta Forest Management.
Branden was predeceased by his Grandpa Bill Soroka, Uncle Denton Soroka, Cousins Delton and Lauranda Soroka.
Branden is survived by his wife Danielle Soroka, son Nayte Soroka, his parents Denise and Tharen Soroka, brother Daken Soroka and his wife Allie and their children Waylen and Violet. Grandma Dorothy Soroka and Grandparents Douglas and Adeline Stone along with many extended family members.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday September 10, 2024 at St. James Parish in Manning Alberta at 1pm.
Fellowship to follow at the Battle River Ag Hall.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Chapel of Memories Funeral Homes.
