Margaret Rose Scherer passed away June 9th, 2024. She is survived by Russell, her loving husband of 56 years; her son, Russ Jr; daughter-in-law, Sally, and grandson, Lance (Seattle). Marg was predeceased by her son, Eddie.
Marg was a lively and very spirited lady who had a heart of gold. She dearly loved her family and friends and her extremely strong Christian belief and faith in God never wavered.
She battled through congestive heart failure, numerous falls and broken bones, two open heart surgeries and two large strokes. Throughout it all a big bowl of ice cream and a song were all it took to bring a giant smile to her face.
Five days after her 83rd birthday, Marg’s battles are over. She has left a rich and full life on earth to live forever in heaven. See you later, alligator. The Memorial Service will be held at the Salvation Army Church, 164 Stratton Way SE, Medicine Hat, AB on Friday, June 14, 2024 at 11:00 am.
