Jessica Faye Chief passed away at the age of 40 years.
Jessica was born August 16, 1983 in North Battleford, Saskatchewan to Doris Chief. She was the third child of four. Jessica was a sweet quiet child, when she was 6, her Mom moved their family to Saskatoon and this is where they made a home. As Jessica grew older her athleticism shined, track & field, basketball and even hoop dancing. She travelled and performed her hoop dances in other schools. Jessica was an artist and loved to draw, read, write and show her creative side. She was a loving mother who cared deeply for her boys and always wanted the best for them. She enjoyed the adventure, and she loved the excitement and thrill of exploring and experiencing as many things as possible. Jessica always dressed up nice, her beauty and style was unmatched, as she would dye her hair so many different colors. Her artistic colorful spirit will forever be treasured.
Jessica leaves to mourn: her three sons, Jared, Jordan, and baby Joshua; mother, Doris; sister, Diane; brothers, Stephan and Ryan; aunts and uncles, Diane Lewis (Leonard), Tom Chief (Karen), Evelyn Chief, Kathy Chief (Eddy) and Vivian Littlewolfe (Keith); and numerous extended family and friends.
Jessica was predeceased by: aunt, Denise (2016); grandmother, Joyce (2007); great-grandparents, Edward (1991) and Alice (1989) Chief; aunt, Donna Marie Chief (1969); grandmothers, Philomene Chief, Rose Chief (1972), Edna Chief (1994), Rachel Chief (2009), Jeanette Chief-Wolfe(2007) and Violet Chief (2014); grandfathers, Willie Chief (2022), John Chief (2005), Martin Chief (1976), Frederick Chief and Douglas Chief.
The Wake will be held at the Log Church, Onion Lake, SK on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at 4:00 PM.
The Funeral will be held at the Log Church, Onion Lake, SK on Saturday, June 28, 2024 at 11:00 AM.
