Tony Thebeau Obituary
Tony Thebeau was born on September 27, 1961 in Killam, AB to parents Dorothy and Rodger Thebeau. He was raised in Campbell River, BC.
As an adult, Tony spent several years living and working in Campbell River and then in Fort St. John, BC, before moving back home to Campbell River for many years. He eventually relocated to Fort McMurray, AB, where he worked in the oilsands for several years before retiring in Blackfalds, AB.
Growing up, Tony loved such activities as weight lifting, beach combing, camping, and fishing. Tony immensely loved his vehicles and enjoyed working on them, often building them from scratch. He was an exemplary mechanic as well as being a millwright by trade. Tony was also a very talented artist.
Tony met his lovely wife Marylyn on a trip to the Phillipines in 2015 and they were married on December 2, 2017. They resided in Blackfalds, AB.
Tony passed away quietly at home on June 20, 2024. He is survived by his loving wife Marylyn Thebeau, his sons Ryan, Tyson (Daisy), Dustin (Yoskiko), and by Christine, Christian, Verlyn (Keenan), and Chenny. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Alexis, Maverick, R.J. (Roman), Towa, Odessa, and Kash.
Tony was pre-deceased by his mother Dorothy Thebeau, his father Rodger Thebeau, his sister Melanie Thebeau, and his brother Darcy Thebeau, and by his grandparents, Molly and Ted Price, and Dorothy & Albert Thebeau.
A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
