Obituary of Joan Kelndorfer
In Loving Memory of
Joan Diane Kelndorfer
January 5, 1954 — March 24, 2024
Joan grew up in Calgary becoming an RN in 1975. She worked at the Chinook Nursing Home for many years before moving to Cranbrook in 1998 for a better opportunity working at the Green Memorial Home, before moving onto Cranbrook Society for Community Living as the Nurse Supervisor of 2 homes. Joan retired in 2021. Joan spent her life helping and caring for others with life challenges, and she had a gift for showing compassion for all who met her. Joan will be missed by everyone she touched in life. Rest in Peace Joan.
Joan is survived by her brother Dan and wife Debi, nephews Tyler (Sara), and Jesse (Jenna), great nieces Kaycee, Hanna, and Piper, and by very special friends Carol Kennedy, Pam Singletary, and Margaret Laidlaw.
Joan was predeceased by her mom Helen in 1984 and dad Gordon in 2008.
A Memorial Service will be held on May 4th, 2024 at 11:00am at the Killam Cemetery, with a light lunch to follow at the Killam Seniors Hall.
