Obituary of Bernadette Allers
Bernadette Marie Allers was born to Leander and Phyllis Kroetsch June 8, 1956. She was raised on the family farm south west of Heisler with 5 brothers and sisters.
Bernadette enjoyed a happy 46-year marriage to her husband Paul Allers. They married May 20, 1978 in Heisler. To that union were born Nathan, Matthew and Vanessa. Bernadette and Paul moved out to the farm north of Strome in 1980 where she had a big garden and did lots of canning for the family.
In 1995 she started working for the Wildrose Coop Association and worked there till her retirement in 2019. Bernadette enjoyed gardening in her retirement years and was known for starting more flowers and vegetables then what was needed.
Bernadette is survived by her husband Paul; children Nathan and his wife Jackie and grandchild Andrea and daughter Vanessa. She was predeceased by her son Matthew, brothers Allan and Richard Kroetsch; brothers-in-law Alfred, Jim and Brian Allers; sister-in-law Mary Allers; mother and father-in-law Frances and John Allers and father Leander Kroetsch.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 5, 2024 at Our Lady of the Prairies Catholic Church, Daysland. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Bernadette may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
