Tom passed away peacefully after a long struggle with COPD with his daughters by his side.
He leaves behind his daughters Carolynn Smith, Barbara (Blake) Allen, & Johanna (Neil) Gordon; his granddaughters Megan, Dana & Janelle; & great-grandson Roland. He is also survived by his siblings Joyce, Hank (Marlene), & David (Lynne), as well as many nieces and nephews, family and friends.
He was predeceased by his loving wife Alva; his parents Mark & Nelly (LeFebre), and siblings Judy & Gaye.
Tom had a long career with Alberta Correctional Services. After retirement, he was a volunteer for the Cancer Society driving patients to their appointments for many years. We will remember his sweet nature & friendly disposition fondly.
A Celebration of Tom’s Life will be held in September.
