Mrs. Roberta “Bobette” Robley, long-time resident of Nanton, passed away at the High River Hospital on July 30, 2024 at the age of 91 years. Roberta is survived by her sons Lorne (Mary), Lee (Trish), and Larry (Kelli); grandchildren Cory (Nathan), Mike (Claire), Dan (Lonni), Tanner (Lacey), Logan (Sarah), Jessica (Tyson), Blake, and Carly (Colemen); 14 great-grandchildren; and her sister Judy Wright.
She was predeceased by her husband Edward “Ted”, and brother Lynn Moody.
Bobette was born in St. Paul and later moved to Edmonton, where she worked in a bank and met her husband Ted. In 1961, the family moved to Nanton. She loved being a homemaker and spending time with her family and friends playing cards. She also enjoyed square dancing and being part of her Lunch Bunch and Red Hatter groups.
A Celebration of Roberta’s Life will be held at the Kosy Corner in Nanton on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at 2:00PM.
