Mr. Olatoye Adisa, born on October 22, 1955, in Ilobu, Osun State of Nigeria, peacefully passed away surrounded by his loved ones on March 16, 2024, in Alberta, Canada. He led a life filled with dedication, wisdom, and love that touched the hearts of all who knew him.
His education began at L.A Primary School in Ikotun and continued through his service in the Nigeria Army, where he honed his skills as a mining engineer. He was in Doncaster, England from 1985-1987 to study and get more certifications in his profession. With over thirty-six years of experience in quarry operations and management, he excelled in his field with a focus on quarry design, plant management, and blasting economy.
As the CEO of TERO – INTER- BIZ Consults since 2015, Mr. Adisa Olatoye made significant contributions to the mining industry. His professional memberships included being a Registered Professional Member of the Council of Nigerian Mining Engineers and Geoscientists, a Fellow of the Institute of Quarrying (Nottingham), and a member of various esteemed organizations.
Engr. Adisa is survived by his loving wife, three children, seven grandchildren, his brother, 3 nieces and 2 nephews.
His wife fondly remembers their loving relationship that spanned decades, highlighting his support for her education and their shared moments of joy. His eldest daughter recalls his unwavering faith in God and dedication to prayer, emphasizing his commitment to family values and education. His family will forever be grateful for his guidance and for his encouragement to make a positive impact on the world. His legacy lives on through his family’s memories and the values he instilled in them.
