Jerry John Danylchuk Obituary
It is with a heavy heart the family of Jerry John Danylchuk, aged 83 announces his passing at Calgary, Alberta on Feb 23, 2024.
Jerry was born on June 9, 1940, in Vita, Manitoba, to Steve and Lena Danylchuk. He later met and married the love of his life Donna Danylchuk on September 2, 1961. They became proud parents to Steven and Brad of whom they were especially proud of.
Jerry was a loving, caring, devoted husband and father. Family meant everything to Jerry and proudly spoke of them often. Jerry will be remembered for his great sense of humour, big heart, and the love for his family. Jerry will be missed by the hearts of many.
Jerry is survived by his Children Steven Danylchuk, and Brad Danylchuk; Brother Robert (Margaret) Danylchuk, Brother-in-laws Keith (Janice) Brown, Brett Brown; Sister-in-law Elena Danylchuk; Best friends Don and Linda Smith; and many nieces and nephews.
Jerry is predeceased by wife Donna Danylchuk; Parents Steve and Lena Danylchuk; Brother Ronald Danylchuk.
The family would like to thank all the Staff of AgeCare Walden Heights in Calgary, Alberta for their wonderful care of Jerry during his stay.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made out to the Canadian Cancer Society.
A celebration of Jerry’s life will be held at a later date.
