Mrs. Janice Sellers of Blackie, Alberta passed away peacefully at the High River Hospital on March 4, 2024 at the age of 66 years.
Jan is survived by her husband Wayne; daughter Tamara; son Kristopher; granddaughter Ayla; nieces Michelle (Phil) Heustis, Tanya (Alan) Ross; and great-nephews Alex Heustis, and Aiden Ross; as well as sister-in-law Brenda Williams (Ray), mother-in-law Helen Sellers, and numerous extended family and friends.
Jan was predeceased by her mother Yvonne Christofferson, father Bill Christofferson and his long-time companion Fran Colpitts, sister Wendy Worke, brother-in-law David Worke, as well as father-in-law Joseph Sellers.
Janice was born in Calgary and grew up on the family farm near Blackie, where she spent most of her life and later years with her husband Wayne, children Kris and Tamara, and her numerous four-legged friends.
Jan was an avid reader who always had a dog by her side, enjoyed her travels, baking and cooking for her family and her granddaughter’s teammates. Her proudest moments were watching Ayla play her sports and cheering loud from the stands with Wayne by her side.
