Fiona Jane Brown Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Fiona Jane Brown on Monday June 10 after a short illness at South Health Campus.
She is survived by her loving husband Glenn, and their sons Jason (Brittany) and Eric (Veronica); brother Donald (Shauna) and two grandsons who were the light of her life, Tate and Oaklen. As well, Fiona is survived by numerous cousins and dear friends.
Fiona was a wonderful wife and mother. She made it her goal in life to ensure that Jason and Eric had what they needed to excel.
She brought that same passion and devotion to her career as an educational assistant in the Foothills School Division and the students she worked with.
Fiona was an outgoing, cheerful woman who will be remembered for her compassion and charitable spirit among other things.
She loved travelling to sunny destinations and made many fond memories in Hawaii, Mexico, Jamaica, and Bahamas with family and friends.
Shopping, one could say, was her hobby. Specializing in clothes and jewelry, she was always on the lookout for the next big bling.
She had an immense love and connection to dogs and was fur mom to Riley, who will miss her cuddles.
Fiona was predeceased by her parents, Paul Machulik and Jane MacNee; her brother Gordon and in laws Maurice and Mary Brown.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Heritage Inn on Thursday June 20 at 11:00 am.
Please wear some bling in her honor. She would love to see that.
If friends and family so desire, donations could be made to the High River Health Foundation or the Alberta Children’s Hospital in Fiona’s memory.
