Obituary For Shaun Sidney Soloman Lizotte
January 28, 1988 – September 10, 2024
It is with great sorrow that the family of Shaun Sidney Soloman Lizotte announce his sudden passing at the age of 36, leaving his family and friends in shock to mourn. Shaun was a fun-loving person the lived life on his terms; he like what he liked but was willing to try new things.
He loved anything Camo or military, camping, and all types of animals. While shy with most people, he was a chatter box to others depending on if you liked the military or any of his interests. He played video games and was in it to win it! He always finished a game in a quick fashion. Boy, if you tried playing Xbox with him, you generally got beat pretty quickly.
Shaun had a child-like personality and loved children and animals, and was always concerned with other people and his cats. Sometimes it seemed like the cats liked him more. Shaun was a gentle soul.
Camping with his dad was his favourite thing, as well as going out to the farm to camp, where he loved spending time with his dad and favourite uncle. He liked going to the movies or out to eat. He loved whatever was happening, no matter what it was or where he went as long as it was with his family. The first time he went to Vancouver Island, he was excited for his first ride on a Ferry. He was amazed that you could take a ship from the mainland and end up on the Island. Going to the beach to see the sandcastles, his eyes lit up when he saw the ocean for the first time. When he tried to dig out his first clam, we thought he was going to dig forever to try to catch it. He also loved seeing the other ships in the water, especially the military ships, as we crossed to the Island.
Shaun will be missed by all his immediate and extended family members, as well as anyone who had the pleasure of meeting him and his loving personality.
Shaun will be welcomed with loving arms by his grandmother Geneva, his grandfather Armand, and his auntie Delise.
A Memorial Celebration will be held in the summer with more details to follow via the family Facebook group. Shaun’s interment will follow in the Teepee Creek Cemetery.
