Obituary For Patrick “Pat” Alexander Johnson
Patrick Alexander Johnson passed away peacefully at Mackenzie Place in Grande Prairie, AB on Sunday, March 31, 2024 after battling numerous health issues at the age of 67 years.
Pat was born at the Johanna’s Nursing Home in smith, AB on August 26, 1956. He was the oldest child of Edward and Helen Johnson.
Pat spent his life living in various places around Alberta -smith, Teepee Creek, Bad Heart, Bonnyville and Red Deer.
Patrick will be missed by his siblings: Brenda (Jim) McMurphy, Rodney (Marg), Diane (Darcy) Rautenstrauch and Carrie (George) Wohlgemuth; 14 nieces and nephews (together with their spouses and families mourn their uncle Pat); a large gathering of special friends who have helped him through thick and thin.
Pat was predeceased by his parents Edward and Helen; sister Patty Ann; step-dad, Robert Klukas; both sets of grandparents; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
At Pat’s request, there will not be a Funeral Service. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2024 to drop in between 1:30-4:00pm at the smith Civic Centre (9929 100 St.). Please bring your stories and pictures to remember him and if you don’t want to share the stories out loud, please write them down. The family will be scattering his ashes privately at a later date.
