Obituary For Judith “Judy” Sanders
May 18, 1942 – August 8, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Judith “Judy” Sanders on August 8, 2024, at the age of 82.
In life, Judy was full of personality, and often described as “feisty”. She was kindhearted and caring, and she loved to help out when she could. Judy was a lover of Christmas, animals, and gardening. She enjoyed keeping her Christmas decorations up around her home well into the new year, and you could always find various stuffed animals all throughout her house. She was also a fan of football (but ONLY the CFL, she had NO patience for the NFL). We will miss her and her eccentric hats.
Judy is survived by her sons David (Lori) Munford, and Cameron Munford, her sister Glenda Ball, son-in-law Brian Nimmo, sister-in-law Carol Wooldridge, as well as her granddaughter Cassandra Nimmo, and grandsons Caden and David. Judy will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
She will be greeted in Heaven by her husband Milton Munford, daughter Marney, her brothers Norman and Wayne, and other family and friends.
Her family will be holding an Interment Ceremony on September 14, 2024, at 11:00 am at the Grande Cache Cemetery, followed by a Gathering of Family and Friends at the Golden Age Club at 12:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, please consider a donation in Judy’s name to Diabetes Canada or the Grande Cache Animal Society.
