Obituary For Edward “Ed” Wayne Crumly
Edward “Ed” Crumly a resident of smith AB, formerly of Salmon Arm, BC passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2024 in Grande Prairie, AB at the age of 82 years.
Ed was born October 9, 1941 in Estevan, SK as the youngest of nine children. He was raised in Torquay, SK.
At the age of 17, Ed joined the Navy where he served on the HMCS Bonaventure as a radio operator. He was an electrician by trade and worked at Newnes for 21 years before he retired.
Ed curled, played baseball and loved to fish. After retirement, he took up and found an enjoyment for gardening and horseshoes. He was the strong, silent type with a sarcastic humour, which most people enjoyed.
Ed will be sadly missed by Gloria Crumly; children: Angela Crumly, Ed Crumly Jr, Micheal Crumly and Natasha (Kristopher) Lockard; grandchildren: Krista Goodon, Danny Goodon, Joe Goodon, Eddie Crumly, Alyvia Crumly and Tyler Christiansen; as well as many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and countless others
He was predeceased by his parents Lawrence and Clara Crumly and eight siblings.
Memorial donations may be made to the Grande Prairie Palliative Care Society (gpcare.ca/volunteer-or-donate/donations/) or the charity of the donor’s choice.
