We are saddened to announce the passing of our beloved Husband, Father, Brother, Son and Friend, Ivan James Boucher, of Fort McKay, on April 29, 2024, at the age of 50.
Ivan was born in Edmonton to James “Scotty” and Stella Stewart on February 4, 1974. He attended Father Mercedi High School. After completing high school, he started working at Syncrude as a Welder for 18 years. He later left Syncrude to join lifelong friends Lee and Chris Wilson with their newly started company BME. He enjoyed a cherished 12 years with BME, a time where he embarked on many adventures which created many countless and wonderful memories.
Driven by his relentless spirit of innovation and vision, he poured his heart into his next endeavor. Ivan charted new territories and embraced challenges with starting his new business, Grape and Olive.
Ivan is survived by his wife, Jennifer; children: Coral, Jared (Tabatha), and Johnross (Neo); father, Scotty; sisters: Rosita, and Melinda (Richard); grandchildren: Willow, Theron, Nikosis; nephew, Vance; and niece’s: Richelle, Kylie, Tashina, Savannah, Gracie and Stella.
He is predeceased by his mother, Stella Stewart.
