It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Sheryl Anne Kootenhayoo of Alexis Nakota Sioux First Nation and Cold Lake, Alberta, on November 13, 2024, at the age of 56 years in Vancouver, British Columbia.
She will be lovingly remembered by her mother, Agnes Gendron; daughter, Cheyanna Kootenhayoo (Brad); son, E’than Kootenhayoo; grandchildren, Sophia Ward-Kootenhayoo and Annashay Crowfoot; siblings, Suzie Paquette (Mike), David Gendron, Robert Gendron (DeeDee), Rae Anne Gendron; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
She was predeceased by her biological parents, Annie (Minoose) Kootenhayoo and Jerry Kootenhayoo; and her son Taran Kootenhayoo.
A Service will be held on Sunday, December 15, 2024, from 2:00-5:00 p.m., at Connelly-McKinley Downtown Funeral Home, 10011 114 Street NW, Edmonton.
