With profound sadness we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, gido, brother, and friend, Orest Towpich, on May 25, 2024.
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Lois; sons: Duane and Darrell; grandchildren: Carter, Zoriana, and Jaxon; sisters: Sylvia Babich, of Calgary, and Adeline (Bill) Andronyk, of St. Albert. He leaves behind a large extended family, numerous cousins, and a host of friends.
He is predeceased by his granddaughter, Tori; and his father and mother, Richard and Helen Towpich.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Matthew Roman Catholic Parish (13131 86 Street, Edmonton, AB) on Monday, June 3rd, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Paul Ramachamkudy officiating. Interment will take place at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to the NICU Unit of the Royal Alex Hospital (10240 Kingsway Ave, Edmonton, AB T5H 3V9), or to a charity one’s choice.
