On Saturday, June 8, 2024, Nellie Zuk of Edmonton, formerly of Abee, AB, passed away at the age of 97 years.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children Joan (Mike) Sudayko, Pat (Jim) Berry, Clarence (Kathy) Zuk and Debbie (Jeff) Mantyak; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two step great-grandsons; two sisters-in-law and numerous relatives and friends.
Predeceased by her husband John Zuk; her parents Mike and Anna Lega; sister Annie (Victor) Zaplotinsky; brother Andrew (Ardith) Lega; William and Katherine Zuk; five sisters-in-law and five brothers-in-law.
Viewing Wednesday, June 19, 2024, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Park Memorial, 9709 – 111 Avenue NW, Edmonton. A Divine Liturgy will be held Thursday, June 20, 2024, at 10 a.m. at Exaltation of the Holy Cross Ukrainian Catholic Church, 9003 – 153 Avenue NW, Edmonton. Reverend Bohdan Nahachewsky officiating with interment in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
