Lewis DeMerchant, 91, of New Brunswick went on his final trip June 17, 2024, in Alberta where he lived his last few years.
Lewis will be lovingly remembered by his 5 children, 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren. Frances (Barry) and children Jason (Christine) and their children Christopher, James and Nicholas. Kirk (Megan) and their children Peyton and Owen, Howard, Danny, Ann-Margaret (Brian) and their children Jesse (Karen) and their child Josie, Adam, Sara and her child Hailey, Karly (James), Dwayne (Krista) and their children Nathan, Travis and Carson. 3 sisters, Myrtle, Joyce, Martha and 1 brother Herb. A relative and friend to so many others.
Lewis was predeceased by his parents Melissa and Howard; his loving wife Doreen; 2 brothers Ronald and Murray, and 4 sisters Wilma, Carol, Patsi and Rose.
Lewis loved to travel to visit family and friends. He was happy to help whenever needed. During his last years his communication abilities deteriorated. He wanted those that he loved dearly to know that you were always in his dreams, unscheduled trips and his daily thoughts.
Respecting wishes there will be no service and he will be painting the world with a different brush in future travels.
