Obituary for
Kahtan Yaggey
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Kahtan Yaggey of Edmonton on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at the age of 67 years.
Kahtan is survived by his former wife, Nahida Yaggey; sons, Nezar (Amanda) Yaggey, Rabieh (Katrina) Yaggey and Sami Yaggey, all of Edmonton; grandchildren, Kaeya Yaggey, Amaya Yaggey, Aslan Yaggey, Milana Yaggey and Vienna Yaggey, all of Edmonton; sister, Amel Yaggey of Edmonton; and sister-in-law, Patricia Yaggey.
He was predeceased by his father, Sami Yaggey; mother, Akarem Yaggey; and brother, Waeil Yaggey.
Thank you to Dr. Ceccherini-Nelli, Dr. Aradi, Jane Dyhm and all the staff at Sprucewood Place.
It was Kahtan’s wishes to have a private family service. Family and friends may pay their respects between 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. on December 14th and 15th at Rabieh and Katrina’s home, 15916 – 102 Street NW, Edmonton. Kahtan has been laid to rest in Northern Lights Cemetery.
In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to the Schizophrenia Society of Alberta.
