It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved “Papa Joe”. A true patriarch of our family and beloved husband of Mary, has passed on September 10th, 2024. A beautiful life has been lived and will forever be missed by those who knew him.
Joe had a large following and an incredible passion for music. His early recording studios, playing in bands, songwriting, and helping so many others in their music endeavors has cemented his place in country music and he will forever be a well respected Legend to those that knew him.
Joe was a very talented RC pilot and builder, he filled his spare time with this hobby he enjoyed so much. When not watching football or baseball he could be found tinkering on his planes or enjoying time with Mary.
So many stories through the years have been lived and told, no one was a better story teller and speaker than Joe. He told stories from his larger than life experiences but the stories he seemed to enjoy telling the most were those of his loving wife, 5 children, 11 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren who he cared so deeply for.
He was a constant reminder of how to be a truly amazing person day in and out. To those who knew his heart, he will be in yours forever.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Donations can be made in honor of Joe to the Diabetes Association of Canada.
