Ida Ricioppo
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Ida Ricioppo on Friday, June 14, 2024, at the age of 87 years.
Ida is survived by her children, Alex “Frank” (Kelly) Ricioppo, Anna (Adam) Rees, Alfredo (Tara) Ricioppo, Gianna (Chris) Szydlowski, Hutch Ricioppo and Peter (Shanna) Ricioppo; grandchildren, Eric (Robyn), Alissa (Hannah), Matteo (Soli), Isabella (Aldo), Antonio, Vicenzo, Thomas and Kiera; great-granddaughter, Alessandra; siblings, Vincenzo (Caterina), Pierina (Francesco) and Ruggiero; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by her siblings, Rosa and Peppino and nephew, Gianni.
The family wishes to thank all those who called, came to visit and provided support while Ida was ill.
A Prayer Service will be Thursday, June 20, 2024, at 8 p.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 – 111 Avenue NW, Edmonton, officiated by Father Susai Jesu, OMI. A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, June 21, 2024, at 10 a.m. at Santa Maria Goretti Roman Catholic Church, 9110 – 110 Avenue NW, Edmonton, officiated by Reverend Father Roy Antony, CFIC with interment St. Michael’s Cemetery.
