On December 10, 2024, Esther went home to be with her Lord for Christmas at the age of 96 years.
She was predeceased by her parents, two husbands, eight brothers, seven sisters, and their spouses.
Esther leaves to mourn her daughter, Diane Croken (Jim); sons, Randy Townsend (John), Kevin Townsend (Dez), Dean Townsend; and adopted son, Daniel Stavert; grandchildren, Ashley March (Adam), and Robert Lutz (Christine); great-grandchildren, Lilyana March, and Henry Lutz; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on February 25, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at Grace Lutheran Church in Edmonton, Alberta (9907-114st) with Pastor Neil Stern officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grace Lutheran Church or a charity of your choice.
