Donna Christine Miller (née Lewis)
Donna Christine Miller, beloved partner, mother, grandmother, artist, educator, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2024, at the age of 77. She was born on May 21, 1947, to Ernie and Ethel Lewis.
Donna is survived by her devoted partner of 22 years, CC (Clyde Chyzyk); her loving children, Aimee (Lucas) Herr, John (Ruth) Miller, and Robyn (Scotty) Cartwright; her cherished grandchildren, Isabelle, Jordan, Jayden, Liam, Hope, and Skylan; her former husband, Norman Miller; and many cherished relatives and friends.
Donna’s life was marked by her deep love and commitment to her family and friends, as well as her spirituality and close involvement with her church community. She worked tirelessly to support and enrich the lives of others through her faith and actions. She was known for her kindness and generosity, qualities that extended into her commitment to the local art community. Donna was an avid artist and educator, passionate about sharing her creativity and knowledge with others. Her love for the outdoors was evident in her paintings and her time spent exploring nature’s beauty.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Donna’s life will be held Friday, August 9, 2024, at 11 a.m. at St. Thomas Anglican Church, 4 Raven Drive, Sherwood Park, AB with inurnment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. All who knew and loved Donna are welcome to attend this time of reflection and remembrance.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to Hope Mission in Donna’s honour.
