Obituary for
Donald Palichuk
On November 24, 2024, Donald Palichuk of Redwater, Alberta passed away peacefully at the age of 77 years.
Donald spent many years on the family homestead in Radway, then moved to Edmonton in the early 1990’s. For the last 14 years, Donald has lived in the Lodge in Redwater. He enjoyed going to dances and was an avid fan of the Edmonton Elks.
Donald is survived by his sister, Diana Fedorak of Cold Lake; nephew, Kevin (Christina) Fedorak of Sturgeon County; niece, Kerri (David) Gilles of Cold Lake; and great-nephews and nieces, Branden (Sarah), Tyler, Coby, Meagan, Kaleb, Zephyr, Rose, Amelia, Jaxson and Ryder.
Donald was predeceased by his parents, Mary and Walter Palichuk; longtime companion, Helen Collinton; and brother-in-law, Paul Fedorak.
Donald’s family thanks the caring staff at Diamond Springs Lodge in Redwater for their many years of kindness and compassion.
A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at 10 a.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 – 111 Avenue NW, Edmonton with interment in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
