With heavy hearts and enduring hope in our Lord Jesus, we announce the passing of Diana Cheuk King Lee, aged 92, of Edmonton, Alberta, at HolSome Place Continuing Care Centre. She went to be with the Lord peacefully on December 22, 2024.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Man Shan Lee, of Edmonton, of 37 years. Diana will be dearly missed by her children, Garland (David) Yip, Grace (Fred) Ko, Gabriel (Moira Quigg-) Lee; grandchildren, Chris, Curtis, and Cameron Yip, Jordyn and Jeneya Ko, Sean Quigg Tutty (Lee-Ann Fitzpatrick), Kyra Quigg Tutty (Alana Donahue), Katie Lee (Jeremy Rushton), Samuel Lee; and great-grandchild, Arlo Quigg Tutty.
Diana was devoted to God and shared His love with others wherever she went. She lived a life of generosity, kindness, and service. Before immigrating from Hong Kong to Canada in 1973, she was an elementary school teacher of English and piano. In 1980, she taught Chinese cooking and Floral arrangements on a local Chinese TV program. She was an active member of Edmonton Christian Community Church and enjoyed leading the seniors’ fellowship through music and recreational activities.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, 10011-114 Street NW, Edmonton, Alberta, T5K 1R6, on Sunday, December 29, 2024, at 2:00 p.m.
Those attending the service in person are invited to an interment meal at Emperor’s Palace, 10638-100 Street NW, Edmonton. The service will also be live-streamed for our dear friends and family who cannot attend in person, which can be viewed by clicking here.
Diana left a legacy of faith, joy, and love, that will continue to live in those who knew her.
If you wish to donate in her honor, feel free to donate to Far East Broadcasting Canada (an organization sharing God’s love with multi-media broadcasts of Christian messages, music, and stories), the Edmonton Christian Community Church, or any charitable organization of your own preference.
