David Schmidt passed away on Friday, July 12, 2024, at the age of 64. He leaves behind his soulmate, Evelyn; his two daughters, Andréa and Nickola; his two granddaughters, Rowan and Shire; his siblings, Debra, Robert, Janice, and Fred; his cat, Caesar; and many other relatives.
David was a talented artist and a gifted cook, bringing creativity and delicious meals into many lives. His love for music was a constant source of joy. Known for his storytelling and humour, he enjoyed sharing jokes and stories with friends and family. David loved travelling with his friends and embraced the opportunity to explore new places and cultures. He also had a passion for golf and darts and was skilled at both, often enjoying dart competitions at Oscars Pub.
David’s presence will be missed, and his memory will live on in his shared stories and laughter. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Polar Bear Fund (polarbearfund.ca) or the Heart and Stroke Foundation (heartandstroke.ca) in his memory.
