It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Daniel “Dan” Campbell, who left us unexpectedly on June 5, 2024, in St. Albert, Alberta. Born on May 2, 1947, in Cardenden, Scotland, Dan’s journey through life was marked by his friendly, loving, and kind nature.
Dan’s professional life was as intricate and detailed as the drafts and plans he meticulously checked throughout his career. He honed his skills early on as a blacksmith apprentice, a testament to his hands-on approach to life’s challenges. His work ethic and dedication to his craft were evident to all who knew him.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Dan’s passions were diverse and vibrant. His love for music, Lego, and hockey were sources of joy and inspiration, not only to him but also to his family and friends. Dan’s memory will be cherished by his sons, Colin and Scott, his daughter-in-law Mariah, and his beloved grandson Holland.
Dan was predeceased by his wife, Cheryl, whose memory he held dear. As we bid farewell to Dan, we celebrate a life well-lived, a heart well-loved, and a legacy that will continue to resonate through the lives of those he touched.
In keeping with Dan’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held.
