With heavy hearts and lots of love, we mourn the passing of wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Cecile AnneMarie de Champlain of Legal, AB at the age of 81 years.
On November 21st, left to cherish her memories are her husband, Ricky de Champlain; children, Colette Hills and Ron (Sheelah) de Champlain; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Mom had one brother, Marcel (Donna) Lessard; two sisters, Juliette Lessard and Lucille (Ray) Guenette as well as dad’s family, Norm (Irene) de Champlain, George (Merry) deChamplain, Claude (Delee) deChamplain, Guy (Lerma) de Champlain and Paulette (Eric) Vanderkooi.
Mom was predeceased by her sister, Lucille Guenette and Sister in Law, Joanne de Champlain.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 29, 2024 in St. Emile Catholic Church, Legal, AB.
The family would like to thank Pilgrims Hospice Society who provided such great physical and spiritual care to Mom. Our entire family was wrapped in a warm hug of love, compassion and support from the second we arrived until her final breath.
