Ettore “Alex” Di Blasio, residing in Leduc, AB, passed away due to heart failure, at the age of 44 years young.
He will lovingly be remembered by his children, Ben and Maxime; mother, Suzanne Plouffe; father, Fausto; brothers, Anthony and David; as well as so many numerous family members, friends, and members of the Canadian Arm Services.
He battled P.T.S.D. for over 20 years, which he contracted during his service in Afghanistan, before finally succumbing to heart failure.
One special mention to Havey, his service dog, who was such an incredible help in his life.
Special thanks to Tash House, his present wife, and to the children’s mother, Jodie Sartoris, for their help which has been invaluable.
A Funeral Liturgy will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at Connelly-McKinley Downtown Funeral Home, 10011-114 Street NW, Edmonton, AB, T5K 1R5. A Funeral Mass for Ettore will be celebrated in Montreal in the New Year, where most of his family resides.
