Albert James Lauder Obituary
On June 11, 2024, Jim Lauder passed away at the age of 84.
Jim was a beloved husband, father, and GP. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Debbie; his daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn and Alfred Steinborn, Colleen Lauder, and Christie and Grant Ward; his grandchildren, Chris Steinborn (Carolyn), Eric Steinborn (Eliza), Cody Ward (Christine), Sidney Ward (Alex); and his great granddaughter, Rosie Ward. Jim’s surviving family members are his brothers, Wally Lauder and Gerald Lauder, and his brother-in-law, Bill Whitehouse, along with friends, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Jim was predeceased by his parents, George, and Jennie Lauder; his parents-in-law, William George (Bill) and Daisy Whitehouse;
his sister, Linda Lauder; and his sister-in-law, Fran Lauder.
In Jim’s life, he was the happiest when he was spending time with his children and grandchildren and when he was outdoors hunting, fishing, and camping. Jim’s greatest pride was when he became a dad and a GP.

A memorial service will be held on June 21,2024 at 11 a.m. at Serenity Funeral Service, North Central Chapel, 10129 Princess Elizabeth Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta, T5G 0X9.
Cremation has taken place. A family gathering will take place later for the interment of the ashes.
If friends so wish, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of one’s choice.
