It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of a dear brother, uncle, great uncle, cousin, and friend on Dec 20, 2023, in Calgary Alberta
Calvin was born in Strathmore Alberta on August 24, 1979, he was 44 years old. Calvin leaves to mourn his family who love him very much.
He is survived by his best friend Melanie George siblings Carla, Patsy, Travis, Coreen, Noreen (Mike), Anita Calf(John), Julius Peace Maker, Leita Sun Walk, Stephen Peace Maker, Raylance Peace Maker & Chip Wolf Leg. Special nieces- Carmen, Brianna, and Daisha nephews Jesse and Leland numerous nieces, nephews Uncles, Aunties, and Cousins.
Calvin spent his childhood in Siksika before later moving to High River. In his adult life spent most of his life in Calgary with his best friend Melanie George. He worked as a forklift operator and later was a supervisor for a cleaning company for many years He would go on trips to Mexico and other places. During his downtime, he enjoyed watching Flames games with his brother Travis and nephew Jesse. The family was most important to him and would consistently go to Siksika to check on his sisters Leita and Carla who were 2nd mothers to him. His twin sister meant the world to him. He will be remembered for his cheerful spirit, generosity, and infectious laugh.
Calvin is predeceased by his grandparents Peter and May Calf, Mike Kipp and Elizabeth Peace Maker parents: Irvin Calf (Sr) &Rachel Peace Maker sisters: Marlene Calf, Twin sister Irvina Calf brothers: Orton, Morton, and Joe PeaceMaker nephews Claudio Jr, Peter Calf niece Josette Many Guns
Calvin is survived by his extended families Calfs, Sunwalks, White Eagles, Many Bears, Eagle Rib, White Man, Spring Chief, Brass, Rabbit Carrier, Black Plumes, Blacks, and apologies for anyone we missed.
Funeral services are to be held at Holy Trinity Church, Siksika Nation Alberta on December 29, 2023
