With a heavy heart, we announce the passing of Vivian Louise Nunn of Rocky Mountain House, formerly of Breton, Alberta. Vivian peacefully departed this world on July 15, 2024, at the age of 88 years. Prior to residing at Clearwater Centre, Vivian resided at Shangri-La Lodge in Drayton Valley.
Known for her passion for travel, Vivian journeyed extensively to Florida and Arizona alongside her beloved late husband. She found solace in the serenity of camping under the stars and sharing stories around the campfire.
A devoted mother, Vivian’s love for her family knew no bounds; her children held a special place in her heart. With her warm and welcoming nature, she forged friendships effortlessly, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the pleasure of knowing her. As a military family, they embraced the transient lifestyle, adapting to new surroundings with grace and resilience.
Vivian Louise Nunn will be dearly missed but forever remembered for her unwavering love, vibrant spirit, and the enduring impact she had on those fortunate enough to have crossed paths with her.
Vivian will be lovingly remembered by her children, Randy (Denise) Nunn, Brenda (David) Frith and David (Trish) Nunn, numerous grand and great-grandchildren, as well as many extended family and friends.
Vivian is predeceased by her husband, Raymond, her parents, and three brothers and two sisters.
Memorial donations in Vivian’s name may be made directly to Alzheimer Society of Alberta and Northwest Territories, 10430 61 Ave NW #306, Edmonton, Alberta T6H 2J3.
Vivian’s life will be celebrated at Affinity Funeral Service, 5001 45 Avenue, Drayton Valley, Alberta on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. A private family Interment will take place at a later date at Breton Cemetery, where she will join her loving husband in eternal rest.
