Vernon Edgar Campbell Obituary
Vernon Edgar Campbell
September 02, 1933 – September 17, 2024
It is with saddened hearts that the family of Vernon Campbell announce his passing on September 17, 2024, at the Drayton Valley Hospital, at the age of 91.
Vernon will be remembered by his children, Bonnie (Ray), Debbie, Wade (Justyna) and Cindy (Glen). Vernon is also survived by his grandchildren, Brooke, Amy, Nick, Skye, Kanyon and Summer. Vernon has numerous brothers and sisters that he also leaves to remember him and the stories of his life.
Vernon was predeceased by both of his parents and a granddaughter, Brie.
Vernon was more of a private individual who really enjoyed his time outdoors travelling the scenic back roads with his truck and camper. He had a real passion for Standard Bred horses and travel, cherishing his trips to such places as British Columbia and Vegas. Go rest high on that mountain Vernon, your sojourn here in this life is over but your new one in the next life has just begun.
The family would like to express their gratitude to all the staff at the Drayton Valley Hospital for their care and compassion shown to Vernon while he was in their care.
No formal service will take place, but a private celebration of Vernon’s life will be held by the family at a later date.
Condolences may be sent to www.affinityfuneralservice.ca.
