Stanley Richard Berg, affectionately known as Stan, passed away on (date). He lived a fulfilling life, leaving behind cherished memories that will be remembered by all who knew him.
Stan had a deep passion for the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He shared his love for nature as a guide in upper B.C., where he helped others discover the beauty of the wilderness. Stan’s social nature led him to collect meaningful relationships throughout his life. He cherished the simple joys of sitting around the kitchen table, sharing conversations over a cup of coffee with his friends.
One of Stan’s greatest joys was riding in the Cadomin mountains on Peruvian Paso Fino horses, experiencing the thrill of the open terrain. He also dedicated himself to farming, initially with beef cattle and later transiting to a dairy farm. His hard work and dedication were recognized through numerous awards, a testament to his commitment to excellence.
Stan proudly served his country in the military for 21 years, with 9 years in the navy and 9 years in the air force. He was known as a “Sparker” and served as a role model for his peers, exemplifying a strong work ethic and unwavering dedication to his duties.
Stan will be remembered by his son, David (Dawn); grandchildren, Tiara, Nicole, and Health; 10 great-grandchildren, and nephew, Stewart. His memory will forever be cherished, and his legacy will continue to inspire others to lead lives filled with passion, hard work, and meaningful conversations.
Stan was predeceased by his wife, Diana; son, Richard James Berg; eight brothers, one sister and his parents Arthur and Lily Berg.
