It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patricia Denne Koronko, a beloved mother, and grandmother, Monday, January 8, 2024 in Drayton Valley Hospital and Care Centre, at the age of 67 years. Patricia had been battling illness for an extended period, displaying immense strength and resilience until she had the opportunity to welcome the arrival of her twin great grandchildren.
Patricia’s memory will forever be remembered by her children, Laura (Felix), Katrina (Cory), and Pamela (Craig); her grandchildren and her many great-grandchildren; siblings, Terri Davey and Shawn (Susan) Gosnell; along with Adrienne, Niki, Megan, Jeff, Natasha, and Crystel.
Patricia was predeceased by her husband, Barry; parents, Joan and Bill Smith; and her brother Mike Smith.
Patricia was a quiet homebody, who found solace in the comfort of her home. Her greatest passion in life was her children and grandchildren, who brought immeasurable joy and fulfillment to her days. She found immense happiness in their presence and treasured every moment spent together.
One of Patricia’s favorite pastimes was camping, where she could immerse herself in the beauty of nature and create lasting memories with her loved ones. Sitting around the fire, surrounded by family, was a cherished activity that brought warmth and happiness to her heart. In addition to her love for family and nature, Patricia found great pleasure in crocheting. With skilled hands and a creative spirit, she crafted beautiful pieces, until struggles with her eyesight brought this season of her creativity to a close.
Patricia’s faithful furry companions, her dogs Prince and Bear, held a special place in her heart. Their unwavering loyalty and companionship provided her with comfort and unconditional love throughout her life.
The family would like to extend their thanks and gratitude to the Drayton Valley Hospital and Care Centre staff for the compassionate care shown to Patricia during her stay.

Patricia will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her unwavering love for her family, will forever be remembered and cherished.
