Munro Stevens Obituary
Munro Stevens
August 07, 1967 – April 04, 2024
After a long battle with health issues, Munro Stevens entered into his rest on April 4, 2024, with friends, family and his fur-baby by his side.
Munro’s life and spirit will always be cherished and remembered by those he affectionally called his “Family by choice”, Rita Gent; daughters Rachelle (Desmond) Bingham, Roxanne Gent and Rebecca (Brian) Sheppard, along with all of his amazing grandchildren, Trenten, Brayden, Taysen, Shayla-May, Heidi and Mariah (Wade) Bingham, who are awaiting the arrival of Munro’s great-granchild, affectionately known to him as “Baby Bump”.
Munro was the youngest of 13 children and he also leaves to mourn his passing his sisters Jeanie, June-Anne, Coral, Betty, Diane, Louise, Ruby and Pearl and brothers Peter, Tommy, Charlie and Bernie.
He will also be remembered by his nieces Tanya and Jenna and his nephews Tyler, Ivan and Jason here in Canada, along with numerous nieces and nephews in England.
Munro was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Jean Stevens, brother Tommy Stevens and his nephew Randell Stevens.
Munro was absolutely devoted to his grandchildren and his fur-babies, and his happy place was always spending time with family and those he loved. They will always remember his incredible knowledge of a vast number of subjects, and especially his flare as a war historian. As a man who cherished all of his relationships, he leaves to his family and those he loved the words he always stated as his way of saying goodbye – “I love you & go careful.” His family will always lovingly remember Munro as “our 4-4-4 Angel.”
